Recently, Hue Monuments Conservation Center - Thua Thien Hue province has cooperated with Karcher, the world's leading provider of cleaning technology to clean up Ngo Mon works in Hue Citadel.

It is known that this project is part of the chain of cultural sponsorship programs of Karcher Group (Germany) in coordination with Hue Monuments Conservation Center. This is the first time Ngo Mon Gate has been cleaned with new technology.

It is known that there have been more than 100 Karcher cleaning projects implemented worldwide. Among them is the project of cleaning the statue of the Redeemer in Rio De Janeiro (Brazil) and Mount Rushmore - National Memorial (USA), Column on St Peter Square - Vatican City, Nihonbashi bridge (Japan ) .

According to experts, to clean Ngo Mon Gate, the unit uses Steam cleaning technology by using a special nozzle to create 0.5-1 bar steam pressure on the limestone surface. .
