Colombia: Discovered a new species of golden frog
Colombian scientists have discovered a poisonous yellow frog in the deep mountains of Colombia. This new frog is about 2 cm in length, and the pale yellow skin is hidden beneath the clans. They are named Supatá yellow frogs.
Scientists who discovered these tiny frogs say they have some similar characteristics to some other frogs in the area, but the Supatá yellow frog is the only, unique species found in a wide area. 20 hectares of Cundinamarca region of Colombia.
Colombia is one of the world's most diverse amphibian countries with more than 583 known species. Currently, many frogs in Central and South America are at risk of disappearing before humans find them.
