Da Nang City People's Committee has just approved the construction of a waste-based power plant invested by ENVIROMONDIAL Company (Canada) in the city.
This power plant has a design capacity of 9 - 36MW, the rate of waste left after treatment is 0%, the level of environmental pollution within the permitted limit.
Total investment capital of the project is about USD 15 - 65 million (100% foreign capital), built on an area of 15,000m2. Currently, the Department of Construction in Da Nang is cooperating with the Investment Promotion Center to find suitable locations to build, and at the same time instruct the investor to survey the situation of the city's waste treatment to plan the operation. works for the factory after construction is completed.
It is expected that the waste-powered power plant in Da Nang will be constructed in 2006 and officially put into use in 2009.
