This drug can treat patients infected with influenza virus resistant tamiflu.

The report of a group of scientists led by Suganoya Keno of the Department of Pediatrics, Yokohama Institute of Medicine (Japan), said they conducted experiments for 184 volunteers during the time when the flu broke out with High frequency from 2008 to 2009.

Then the scientists divided the object into two groups. The subjects involved in the experiment were infected with the influenza virus, scientists gave the subjects one by one use of CS-8958 and tamiflu.

The time to experiment is when flu viruses resistant to tamiflu are very developed. Among the experimental subjects, about 95% were infected with this tamiflu-resistant virus.

Experimental results show that the ability of CS-8958 to recover health is 60 hours earlier than those of tamiflu./.
