Dell compensates customers in China
Dell has just compensated some customers in China who sued the company for selling laptops with processors different from those advertised in the media.
According to China Daily, Dell's 19 customers in Xiamen province were compensated by Dell in the middle of the week when the lawsuit was filed in Shanghai court. It is known that Dell is the second largest PC distributor in China, just behind Lenovo.
China Daily also said the lawsuit is due to customers accusing Dell of selling Intel-integrated laptops with fewer features than ads.
Dell, Jess Blackburn spokesman, blamed the incident on a marketing error, and said it would adequately compensate customers' requirements. " We have been informed about the incident and have contacted the customer to resolve, " Jess Blackburn said.
It should be noted that after suffering many complaints from US customers, Dell decided to invest $ 100 million to hire 2,000 more employees to improve the quality of customer service. Dell customers often complain that they have to wait for the phone too long when employees are asked to support them.
