Israeli archaeologists have unearthed the remains of a fabulous remembrance of a deceased, near a grave of Natufian prehistoric people at Mount Carmel near Haifa, northern Israel. This is a tribute to the oldest funeral party ever found.

Archaeologists believe that the traces they find are the remnants of a big meal because they are incomplete bones, in which many pieces break and some pieces no longer have bone marrow. This proves that these are not the rest of the complete animals.

According to the theory of archaeologists, all the tribes that buried the dead and gathered at the grave here can accommodate many people and can see the beautiful views of the mountains. The team found traces of broken bones and identified the Natufian who used hard objects to cut bones and meat during a funeral party. When performing the ritual to worship the dead, the Natufian buried the intact animals.

In addition, the researchers identified favorite prehistoric food as antelope meat, but they also ate the turtles and wild rabbits that are easy to hunt and can be found in large numbers near the mountains. . The researchers found the bones of the species near the grave.

Carmel Mountain excavation work will continue to be carried out in a Natufian ancient research project. This project started in 2003 and found 29 sets of Natufian remains, living in the Levant area 12,000 to 15,000 years ago. This research project involved archaeologists from Haifa University, Israel's Weizmann Research Institute, and many other countries such as France, Hungary and the United States.
