According to the International Bottled Water Association, in order to produce each liter of bottled water the company often uses an average of 1.39 liters of fresh water.

Part of 0.39 liters is added for preparation, cleaning and bottling. The figure does not include water used in the production of plastic bottles.

8. Each iPhone contains 31g of aluminum

The iPhone is made from a number of metals including titanium or iron, and aluminum is the largest component because it is used to produce the outer casing.

Aluminum accounts for about 24% of iPhone volume, followed by iron with about 14%, according to Motherboard.
