Green coffee helps to lose weight
Scientists at the University of Scranton (USA) have shown the latest evidence that green (unroasted) coffee beans can significantly reduce body weight in "oversized" people in a relatively short time. .
Research by expert Joe Vinson and colleagues describe how a group of overweight or obese volunteers consumed only a small amount of green coffee each day reduced their body weight by 10%. Accordingly, the participants were divided into 2 groups, one group used extracts of low-dose green coffee beans (700mg) and the high-dose group (1,050mg). They followed the diet and practiced thoroughly for 22 consecutive weeks."Their calorie, starch and protein intake as well as their physical training regime have not changed (compared to before they joined the study)," Vinson said.
As a result, high doses of green coffee extracts decreased by 7kg on average, including 10.5% of body weight and 16% of excess fat, while the low-dose group and control group received placebo. There are no changes. From this result, expert Vinson thinks that green coffee is probably a safe, effective and inexpensive solution for those who want to lose weight.
