Discover the largest
Scientists happen to find an empty space stretching 1.8 billion light-years.
The largest space in the universe
Astronomers discovered that the empty space stretches 1.8 billion light-years, with a shortage of about 10,000 galaxies. Supervoid is located in a much colder space than the rest of the universe. This is not a vacuum, it contains about 20% less matter than other regions and is constantly expanding.

The theory of the Big Bang big bang allows some areas in the universe to be colder and hotter, but the size of the empty space does not match the forecasting models, simply because it is too big to exist .
" The object is the largest separate structure ever discovered by humans," Telegragh said , citing Istvan Szapudi, a University of Hawaii expert in Manoa, USA.
The latest research shows that this empty space is three billion light years from Earth. It was losing energy due to light, causing the surrounding area to be very cold. The empty space was discovered thanks to the Pan-STARRS 1 (PS1) telescope data set in Haleakala, Maui and WISE satellites of the US Aerospace Agency (NASA).
