Discover the new park worth nearly 200 billion VND in Long Bien district

Ngoc Thuy Park (Long Bien) has a total investment of 190 billion VND. When completed, it will contribute to creating a highlight in architecture and urban landscape, a green, clean, beautiful and modern space for the Capital.

Ngoc Thuy Park (Long Bien District, Hanoi) started construction in December 2022 and was completed in early October 2023 with a total investment of 190 billion VND, built on a land area of ​​nearly 7 hectares. The project has a signboard to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2023) and the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Long Bien District.

Cycling around Ngoc Thuy Park, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan (79 years old, residing in Group 6, Ngoc Thuy Ward, Long Bien District) excitedly shared that the park is a highlight and new attraction of Long Bien District. "This is the first time I have come to this park, it is so beautiful, clean, spacious, beyond my imagination. From tomorrow, old people like us will have a clean, beautiful space to exercise and relax" , Ms. Ngan confided.

Ngoc Thuy Park, when completed, will contribute to creating a highlight in architecture and urban landscape; creating a green, clean, beautiful and modern space; promising to be a place for entertainment, organizing regular cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports, meeting the increasing cultural and spiritual needs of the people.

The park's items such as regulating lakes, parks, flower gardens combined with public spaces and technical infrastructure systems, social infrastructure are invested synchronously. The special point that attracts people to Ngoc Thuy Park is the clam-shaped rest stop located in the middle of the park .

According to Vice Chairwoman of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha, Ngoc Thuy Park is the result of the efforts and responsibility of the Party Committee, government, the entire political system and the people of Long Bien district. The project is also one of the typical, practical and meaningful results to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Long Bien district.

Ngoc Thuy Park has many paths for people to choose from when exercising and sightseeing. Among them, there are 2 paths running around the lake built with paved stones and 1 asphalt path.

Around the park are arranged many public exercise and sports equipment. The equipment is mainly made of materials that can withstand harsh weather.

The children's play area is equipped with slides, swings, and animal-shaped seats such as dogs, ducks, chickens, tigers, etc. Many families have brought their children to play and explore this new space.

Ms. Pham Thi Mai Phuong (34 years old, residing in Ngoc Thuy ward, Long Bien district) took her two children for a walk around Ngoc Thuy park. "I have been to many big and small parks in Hanoi but have never seen a park as beautiful as this one," Ms. Phuong said.

In the evening, when the lights along the roads and pedestrian bridges are turned on, it creates a colorful picture.
