Scientists have discovered a great secret about giant lice longer than the Jurassic 2cm. They live on the sucking blood of feathered dinosaurs and hard scales on their skin.

Previously scientists did not understand why ancient lice were so large in size and jaws so strong, while their hosts were only small mammals. But now scientists have discovered that the host of this louse is a feathered dinosaur that lived during the Jurassic period.

In the area of ancient fossil louse detection, scientists also found fossils of feathered dinosaurs.

Leading the research, Dr. Andre Nel, working for the Natural History Museum in Paris, France, said: 'If the host of this lice is small animals, the size is large with the jaws. Well, it doesn't seem right. So the host is a feathered dinosaur that lived in the same period. "

Scientists have found fossils of this blood-sucking insect in two areas in China. They have healthy arms , which are also its most powerful weapons, but do not have jumping legs behind them compared to modern lice. Not only that, ancient lice also have huge size compared to modern lice: male lice are about 1.47cm long while females are up to 2.06cm long.

Scientists say that as animals evolve and develop, blood-sucking lice also evolve.
