Built elaborately, the cost to build this miniature ocean is up to 290 million USD. Georgia Aquarium is the result of Bernard Marcus businessman - who has donated up to 250 million USD to complete this unique project.
Georgia Aquarium has five separate galleries arranged around the main gallery. Each gallery has its own name, showing the features of each room like Georgia Explorer, Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Cold-Water Quest and River Scout. The galleries in the gallery consist of many animals with countless sizes, colors, from whales, sharks, penguins to otters, electric eels, starfish .
Of the five water tanks, the Ocean Voyager is the largest, accounting for three-quarters of the water in the aquarium. When coming here, a conveyor belt will slowly take you through a tunnel beneath the bottom of the aquarium, so visitors can admire the animals from below. In some special tanks, visitors can also have experiences like directly touching animals.
To run the Aquarium Georgia Aquarium needs hundreds of employees to take care of everything from feeding, cleaning the tank, with the support of dozens of computers to monitor the temperature and flow of pumped water.
