Discovered 'monster eating bones' in the depths of the Earth

The bodies of 3 crocodiles have been swallowed up by tiny monsters on the ocean floor, and their bones are no longer available.

A team from Lousiana University Marine Association (USA) has identified a mysterious life form in the depths of the Gulf of Mexico.

It is a small group of monsters living more than 2,000 m deep, the location is considered "food desert" on the ocean floor, with all very harsh living conditions. To survive, they have developed the ability to hunt and eat the "hardest to swallow" on Earth.

For experiments, the bodies of three large crocodiles were brought to the bottom of the ocean. The monsters have quickly swallowed all 3 bodies, including the famous "armored" skin of crocodiles. The first only a few bones, the second to the skeleton also no longer, and the third completely "evaporates" from the belt buckle before promptly landed on the sea floor .

A fragment of a bone covered in something like a brown fur helped scientists identify a mysterious monster: an unknown bone-eating worm in the world. They are the culprit that makes the 2nd crocodile does not hold any bones when it goes to the bottom of the sea. Particularly the 3rd crocodile is unclear because the worm is too dangerous or a greedy shark has stolen its prey before it has reached the bottom.

Small monsters are concentrated in rare life oases at the bottom of the bay, where the vents of hydrothermal systems. This is the place to release some chemicals from the ocean floor and also where food on the surface often falls, creating the minimum conditions for life to exist.

These little monsters are "carbon hungry" creatures, and the experiment shows that they are "easygoing" and agile before new food sources.

The research has just been published in the scientific journal PLUS ONE.
