Discovering more than 50 new species of sea creatures in Indonesia
Scientists have discovered 52 new species of marine life off the island of Papua, western Indonesia.
Mr. Jatna Supriatna, Executive Director of the International Nature Conservation Organization in Indonesia, said that during ocean tours this year conducted by the organization in cooperation with the Indonesian government, experts have discovered a the number of new " special and important " creatures in the aforementioned waters, including a shark, a number of shrimp, corals and anemones.
According to Supriatna, there are hundreds of species of fish, crustaceans, crustaceans and corals in each area they study in the sea, including at least 7 species of shrimp, 23 species of fish and 42 species of coral particularity of this sea.
