Dean Pentcheff, a researcher from Los Angeles County's Museum of Natural History (NHM), said: " This new creature is similar to a specimen we found on an Alaskan wooden ship for a century. "We have preserved and preserved this specimen for a long time. The discovery of this creature really surprised us and there was an additional source of motivation to learn more about them."

Dr Adam Wall added: " It is amazing to think that you can discover a new species in a crowded urban area like Los Angeles harbor. We will continue to study and soon offer a solution to the species. This interesting object ".
