The world of birds has just added new members after a group of Nepalese ornithologists recorded a new bird in the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Sanctuary in eastern Nepal.

According to Nepal's state news agency RSS, the bird was seen on February 17, 2002 in the southern forest of Koshi Tappu and was named by the ornithologists " rato baksha arjunak " - the name comes from the shape of this bird: their upper chest is red.
According to ornithologists, in the winter, the bird migrates to Afghanistan, Pakistan and northwestern India.
Nepal is home to 9% of birds found worldwide, with 862 birds discovered in the Koshi Tappu wildlife sanctuary in Sunsari, 450 km east of Kathmandu.
