DNS can do 'slow' broadband service
A report by Nominum, a company that sells software for DNS systems, has issued recommendations to ISPs that they should quickly upgrade DNS capabilities to ensure Sure, their customers can get all the services and utilities of a high-speed Internet connection.
The recommendation was made by Paul Mockapetris, president and head of research science at Nomunum. He said that DNS is like a Internet directory. Its main task is to switch from domain name system to corresponding IPs. So, for any Internet access, DNS must be involved. Therefore, if DNS responds quickly, all services for new broadband lines are smooth and work well.
Slow DNS can delay many Internet services such as web browsing, slow, slow email response to web tasks .
DNS does not do faster than available bandwidth services. It is simple, making those services more seamless.
