Easy backup for Outlook Express

For those who often use Outlook Express to compose and receive e-mail, it is necessary to regularly back up messages and e-mail lists. However, this is not too simple and especially if anyone gets your backup, all personal information will be revealed!

With ABC Outlook Express Backup (AOEB), you no longer have to worry! AOEB is compatible with Windows 95/98 / ME / NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 and with Outlook Express 5.0 and above. You can download the latest version of 1.50 at http://www.outlook-express-email-backup.com/oeb.exe with a capacity of 3.26 MB. Here you can also download backup programs for Microsoft Outlook and Windows Mail with similar usage.

How to backup :

- In the Items to backup section : Check the items you want to backup.

- At Choose a Backup Filename : You select the folder that will contain the backup file (Figure 1).

- In the Security section, check Protect backup file with password then enter the password in the two frames below.

- Finally, you can enter some descriptive information for the backup and click Backup Now button to AOEB to work.

How to recover :

- You switch to Restore card, click Browse button and select the file that was backed up earlier. If you have set a password, please see the Please enter password box, enter the password and click OK (Figure 2).

- In the Description frame, you can see some descriptions that you entered earlier.

- At What section, check what you want to recover. Finally, click the Restore Now button, select OK in the confirmation dialog box to complete (Figure 3).

Note :

- AOEB can also backup Favorites for IE and burn backup files to CD / DVD, you can find this function in the Tools menu.

- You can also schedule backup for AOEB by going to menu Options > Task Scheduler . The same way is done, except that you have to determine the extra time that the program automatically backs up.
