Archaeologists believe that the grave was reused in the 21st Dynasty to contain dozens of wooden coffins decorated with well-preserved colored motifs, wooden funeral masks and nearly 1,000 Ushabti figurines are carved out of porcelain, earthenware and wood.
In addition, the tomb of the New Kingdom era also contains mummies and a collection of clay pots of different shapes and sizes.
According to Waziry, Egyptian archaeologists have found the entrance to this ancient tomb since last March, although it has been known since the early twentieth century. This tomb is a good example of a noble's resting place with a T-shaped structure consisting of an open courtyard leading into a rectangular room, a hallway and an inner chamber.
Excavations continue to uncover the secrets of the tomb when inside the chamber inside archaeologists discovered many coffins containing mummies of linen from the 21st Dynasty.
Experts are examining the mummies to find out the cause of death and identifying the dead. A 9m deep well connected to two rooms in the tomb was also discovered.
