Enhancing the protection of cyberspace in Vietnam

In the afternoon of November 24, in Hanoi, representatives of the Vietnam Computer Emergency Response Center (VnCert) and some ISP Internet businesses discussed the issue of strengthening coordination in Vietnam cyberspace protection. .

In addition to summarizing and withdrawing experience from the coordination of information security during the 14th APEC Economic Leadership Conference, delegates also discussed about the Regulation on coordination among house management agencies. countries and ISP businesses, along with issues relating to information security and security protection for cyberspace in Vietnam.

At the meeting, VnCert representative emphasized the need to have a unit to monitor the situation and propose joint action programs, all relevant units need to discuss plans to resolve incidents and concerns. The most important thing is to build a Regulation on coordination between state management agencies and ISP businesses.

According to VnCert, the Regulation should mention coordination among units in establishing emergency communication channels and information sharing; forming the ability to control network access, participating in domestic and international drills, preparing forces and troubleshooting facilities for service networks and meeting inter-unit briefings on a monthly basis .
