Environmental sanitation project in the Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe basin: There is no plan to accelerate construction progress
On March 1, HCMC Environmental Hygiene Project Management Unit of Nhieu Loc - Thi Nghe basin (Management Board) stated that, before Dinh Hoi Tet, the contractor of the 7th package of bidding package (partnership of Tianjin-Chec 3 - construction sewer lines, wells for collecting wastewater and open ditches . - one of the most important bidding packages of the project) has been submitted to the Management Board of the construction plan in the direction of shortening construction progress.

However, this option is still general, not yet clarifying the conditions of equipment, personnel and finance to speed up the progress so the Management Board has requested a remake with the implementation deadline of the end of February 2007. Tianjin-Chec contractor has fulfilled the request of the Management Board, but applying to extend the construction plan until the end of the first week of March 2007.
It is known that the package No. 7, according to the plan, has to be completed from November 2006 but so far only about 30% of the volume has been completed, seriously affecting the construction progress of the whole project. Therefore, the Management Board has asked the contractor to submit the new construction plan in the direction of shortening the construction time and separating some items of the bidding package to other contractors.
