Established the Space Technology Institute

On November 20, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung signed Decision No. 1549 / QD-TTg on establishing the Institute of Space Technology under the Vietnam Institute of Science and Technology.

Accordingly, the Space Technology Institute is a scientific agency with the function of researching space science and technology; have legal status, seal and can open a separate account at the State Treasury. Head office is located in Hanoi, English transaction name is Space Technology Institute (STI).

Chairman of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology regulates functions, duties, powers, organizational structure and Regulation of operation of the Institute of Space Technology.

This decision takes effect from the date of signing.
