Europe: 'Heavenly sunshine'

Some countries in Europe such as Italy, Turkey, and Romania are experiencing a period of terrible heat, where temperatures reach more than 40 degrees C. Meanwhile, intense rain has caused flash floods. and traffic turmoil in southeastern England.

The worst damage of this heat wave is that Romania with 12 people died. Many big cities in Italy are also suffering from heat waves when temperatures reach 40 degrees C. Roma city authorities have to warn all people to be wary of this heat wave to reduce minimal health problems due to overheating weather.

In the UK, floods have caused damage to nearly 30,000 houses and 7000 businesses. Estimates of damage can be up to 1.5 billion pounds. Many flights have been postponed. Meanwhile, the railway and subway systems have been cut off because of many areas deep in the water.
