The team used portraits and used three-dimensional computer models to assess muscle loss in the skin around the eyes in 10 pairs of mother and daughter, aged 15 to 90. These are the two factors that make up the old look on the face.

They found that mothers and daughters both experienced sagging and sagging in the corner of their eyes as well as in the eyes at the same level.

This similarity becomes most apparent when a woman enters her 30s, the research group from Loma Linda University Medical Center in California said.

According to DailyMail , this finding seems to support the view (in most men) that to know what an old girl will look like, it's best to look at her mother.

The authors hope this finding will help women find cosmetic surgery solutions around the most appropriate eye area to help them look younger.
