Expert to go late? Wear this watch

It is 2h55 minutes. You have an appointment at the other end of town at 3:30 pm this afternoon. Should not go now? Is it too late? The common answer to situations like this is often an overly optimistic guess.

But, a new type of clock that uses a calendar, scheduler, GPS and wireless internet applications can keep you on time. For those who often go late, the Just In Time watch will improve this habit, and even the inventors hope to bring the wristwatch back to fashion.

"This watch provides a perfect information interface with a glance, especially for pedestrians , " said inventor Martin Frey, who graduated from the Berlin School of Fine Arts.

Frey has developed a hardware and software code for the watch, which makes it possible for the device to communicate via Bluetooth to mobile phones. Thus, the watch can access the internet and connect its information with appointments, timetables, navigation directions as well as traffic information.

Just in Time will convert time-related information into easy-to-read icons on the screen. In addition to the time and date, the clock also displays a timeline indicating the type of vehicle (walking, car, bus ...), the location of the wearer on the way, the destination, and Estimated travel time.

For example, the appointment at 3:30 pm, the clock suggested you go at 2:55 to catch the bus at 3h07. If everything is on schedule, the timeline and the icons will be green. The watchman will arrive at 3:19 am and left plenty of time to walk from the bus station to the destination. If you, or the bus arrives late, the watch will know. The green icon on the screen will turn red (slowly or instantaneously, depending on the urgency), and the watch may even vibrate for a warning.
