After a report from the authorities, Vice Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Giang issued a document temporarily suspending mineral exploitation in the limestone mine area at Dun Mountain in Ha Long commune, Ha Trung district. of Tien Thinh Company Limited.

The temporary suspension of exploitation here allows relevant units and competent authorities to specifically and comprehensively examine and evaluate Dun Mountain because a new cave was discovered during the exploitation process.

Currently, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa has issued a document assigning Thanh Hoa Center for Historical Research and Cultural Heritage Conservation to preside and coordinate with relevant units to conduct a comprehensive survey and assessment of the scale, value, historical, cultural, heritage and tourism significance (if any) for the above cave and report the results to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism before May 30.
