Find dinosaur footprints at NASA's center

For decades, scientists at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, still head to the sky to learn about the universe and forget a small piece of the earth's history at their feet. .

About 110 million years ago, the land is now the site of NASA's important scientific center as a home to dinosaur nodosaur. One of these dinosaurs left a very deep footprint in the middle of the ancient mud.

'Space scientists may have come here many times but did not find out,' said Ray Stanford, an amateur dinosaur researcher in an article published on NASA's website. Left is the right footprint of nodosaur - the slow herbivorous dinosaur - when it is moving in a hurry , " Stanford wrote.

The NASA agency did not say the exact location of the footprint - about the size of a western plate.

NASA will consult with regulatory authorities and paleontologists to develop a plan for documenting and keeping footprints.

Stanford discovered dinosaur nodosaur from a fossilized nest found near the University of Maryland. He also found many smaller footprints of the carnivorous, three-footed therapod dinosaur in the Goddard area.
