Find water sources in Con Dao
Dr. Vu Van Bang, Earth-ray Environment Research Joint Stock Company and representative of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Department of Science and Technology, Con Dao district's representative has just finished a survey to find water sources in Con Dao.
Dr. Vu Van Bang said that by surveying the radiation field by machine BT-09 on a length of 5,000m, starting from Tam Lo junction to the junction of An Hai under Phan Chu Trinh road - Zone 2 - Con Dao town, the survey team found a water source with expected water flow of 20 m3 / h, expected drilling depth of 75-90m.
At the Ho An Hai section, the survey team identified three locations with expected water flow of about 15 m3 / h each. In the area of ancient sand dunes, three underground water source locations are expected to flow about 7m3 / h.

In the new sand dune, there are 5 positions that can give water flow of 5 m 3 / h with a depth of 20m. Vo Thi Sau road section to Con Dao National Park found the expected water source of 10 m3 / h. Thus, the total reserves expected in the water sources are about 5,000 m3 / day.
Mr. Chau Anh Kiet, Vice Chairman of Con Dao District People's Committee said that the survey to find groundwater resources is an urgent need of the locality. Finding water sources in Con Dao is in the framework of the project 'Surveying groundwater sources in some difficult areas to return to Vietnam in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province', by Dr. Vu Van Bang as the project leader under the manager of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Department of Science and Technology.
The project is expected to take over in December.
