Firefox 1.5 set a record with 2 million downloads in 3 days
Mozilla had a huge success just three days after the official release of Firefox 1.5. In less than 72 hours, up to 2 million people downloaded Firefox 1.5 to use.
Mozilla has set up additional sites in 30 countries around the world to make it easier for global users to download Firefox 1.5. However, because the number of people downloading too much at a time, the loading process sometimes gets difficult.
The Firefox 1.0 browser Mozilla released on November 9, 2004 also achieved considerable success but is clearly not comparable to Firefox 1.5 this year. Mozilla officials are proud to announce that just three days after its official launch, more than 2 million people have visited Mozilla's website to download Firefox 1.5 to use, creating an unprecedented record for a Internet Explorer rival browser.
Firefox 1.5 is currently placed on the Mozilla.com website, so users can download it easily. Mozilla registered Mozilla.com 11 years ago, but only when Firefox 1.5 was launched, Mozilla.com was launched, and Mozilla's long-established official website was Mozilla.org. Those who prefer Firefox 1.5 in languages other than English can go here to download the appropriate version of Firefox 1.5.
