Firefox 2.0 is delayed until October
The last minute patches forced Mozilla to postpone the launch of Firefox 2.0 open source browser until the end of October.
As originally planned, the browser will be released on August 15. However, due to unintended incidents, Firefox 2.0 will not be released before next 24/20. The second beta of the browser is scheduled to be released tomorrow, August 23.
Source: ahinosvemos.com Mozilla says its developers are still working on ways to fix errors such as tab buffer overflow, spelling, security and image refresh. Currently, you can download Beta 1 of Firefox 2.0 for a free trial.
Compared to version 1.0, Firefox 2.0 has new features like anti-phishing, which helps prevent users from trapping fake websites. In addition, you can reopen closed tabs by accident or accident, and support more active RSS.
The Bookmark feature adds a mini summary, allowing users to quickly browse frequently changing web pages and to see which pages have been updated.
