First router for IPv6
Juniper Networks, Inc. has announced that its M and T series routers are the first certified routers in the List of Internet Protocol-compatible products version 6 (IPv6). US Department of Defense office.
The secretariat of the US Defense Information Agency (OSD-NII) has declared that all program managers of the Ministry of Defense Office must purchase products from IPv6 APL, complying with instructions. Juniper Networks M and T series line routers have been tested using the Common Test Plan (GTP) on DOD's IPv6, the specialized testing and process division for products. IPv6 is related or connected to the Global Information Network. Product interoperability is defined as 'the ability to exchange and use information, often in a large heterogeneous network made up of many other local networks .'
