Fog wall covering British beach

The meteorological expert explained that dense fog appeared due to the warm air from the land mixed with the cool sea air.

Dan Bourne captured the scene of dense white mist covering the coast in Land's End, Cornwall, England, at noon on August 3, Sun reported. The highest temperature when it was about 33 degrees Celsius.

Images attract much attention when shared on social networks."It is very beautiful. I have seen the same scene on the east coast, Bempton Cliffs nature reserve. You must be there to see all its beauty ," commented John George's account.

This natural phenomenon is moderate fog , British expert Craig Snell said. The stratosphere mist appears when two different gases mix, causing the hot air to quickly cool and solidify, creating a thick fog wall.

"This phenomenon is quite common and not unusual. It occurs a lot in the spring but can also occur at other times of the year. In this case, warm air moves from the mainland, merging into Cool air at sea, " Snell explained.
