Fool sleep? Just a dream

Christopher Wanjek

Some people can do anything to fool sleep. And sleepless repressive measures are always welcome.

Somewhere in the gap between clarity and insomnia is stage sleep, a type of sleep that is strongly endorsed by the blogging community. They slept for 25 minutes during the day and spent an hour sleeping at night. Once you have spent some time adjusting to the habit of being exhausted for two weeks, always craving for a sleep, it is when you enter a floating state. You feel more energetic, more focused and more time to enjoy life.

Although there is not a single study that discusses the safety or the advantages of sleep over time, but from what we know about sleep, and even from the language that the blogging community uses - also shows that this technique is only possible in dreams.

But keep dreaming

Most of us only sleep a long night. However, biologically, we are species with sleep divided into two stages. The electroencephalogram has found how the brain experiences a long night's sleep and then awakes again at noon. The rest of our bodies must also follow the brain, other organs and functions reduce the intensity of activity, which represents a two-stage operation cycle. Therefore, in many societies, all people have lunch breaks.

Picture 1 of Fool sleep? Just a dream We only know very little about animal sleep. Why are they sleeping? And why do adults have to sleep for 5 to 9 hours a day to be healthy?

There is still no biological evidence to suggest that sleeping in many stages is good, or that it is a very natural sleep pattern originating from the time when our ancestors lived in our caves when they were always alert. with wild animals at night is like the opinion of some multi-stage sleep advocates.

Why do we sleep?

Contrary to the idea of " sleeping - simply because of the need to rest ," a leading argument about why we sleep, sleep makes it possible for the brain to process information collected during the day. and write them deep into memory. It is clear that human cognitive skills are limited when we lack sleep.

Human sleep experiences repetitive cycles, each cycle lasts 90 minutes, non-REM part takes about 65 minutes, REM part takes 20 minutes and the remaining 5 minutes is non-REM transition period (REM is a part of our brain that works almost as well as when we are awake; non-REM is a deep sleep phase). Most people experience 4 or 5 such cycles every night. REM is considered the most resting period. Studies have also shown that REM disruption causes poor sleep deprivation rather than breaking cycles.

The theory of solace agrees to sleep in stages according to the fact that by " lying and secretly " through the two weeks of constant sleeplessness, we can go right into the stage just to take a nap and enter the stage. REM immediately . We will eliminate unnecessary parts of sleep.

Less sleep than not

In some cases, it is helpful to sleep many times. Claudio Stampi - a sleep expert in Boston, a leading sleep researcher - focuses his research primarily on the way in which yachts, soldiers and people need to maintain their status. Be alert again are the best people in fooling sleep.

Stampi found out that he slept six times in a short time and was better off sleeping a few hours within a few days. He did not discuss or support the notion that healthy people live a normal life and should adopt a multi-stage sleep pattern for more awake time. However, this form also provides Stampi's research with a basis for less sleep testing.

Blog about sleep

A sleep blog provides a lot of different sleep patterns with a strict rule of only 20 minutes for a nap. It is hard to agree with bloggers' assertions, but assume they have no reason to lie. And they are also not hallucinating due to lack of sleep. But many bloggers have revealed that sleeping is not necessarily good at some points.

For example, what would you do if you had more time? Bloggers find ways to exercise or interact. No one thinks to read more books, solve complicated puzzles or learn a language. Simply because they cannot because this job is too heavy for a sleep-deprived head.

Most bloggers return to normal sleep after 6 months or after being fed up even though they still believe they have just completed a task. Such fun is enough. Ample time is also nothing. They also offer a long list of people who sleep in stages, but it seems that these people belong to a two-stage sleep pattern only.

In addition to the enjoyment of experiencing the feeling of ' living longer ' by spending a lot of time awake, sleeping in multiple stages can be contrary to the wishes. The World Health Organization - WHO has classified night shift jobs in the ranks of possible human carcinogens. Causing sleep disorders not only causes cancer, but also causes heart disease, obesity and other diseases.

Sleeping in multiple stages is a fascinating idea but it's best to let it sink into oblivion.
