Ford's robotic arm just wore a car that knew coffee

Ford Motor Company has put into use multi-functional robots, as well as assembling cars that are known for brewing, even backpacking for engineers when they ask.

The robot is being developed by Ford and the German robot maker KUKA Roboter GmbH, which is being used in the Ford Fiesta shock absorber for the Ford factory in Germany.

Robot arms can be programmed to perform many different tasks.

These robotic arms have a height of about 90cm, which is used in one stage of the Ford Fiesta's forklift production line. The robot body is fitted with sensors to identify when someone is near, to help it regulate its activities so as not to be dangerous when there are people around.

According to Ford's introduction video, these robotic arms, in addition to their main assembly car, can also be brewed - essentially tapping coffee at an automatic coffee machine - and then delivering For humans, even it knows to do some back and massage movements.

Ford says that robotic arms can be programmed to perform a variety of tasks, and that it will make assembly processes safer, more accurate and faster. Ford is looking to bring this generation of robots to their American car factories.
