Mr. Peter Sullivan was once a technology fan, but now, after both physical and emotional trauma, he tries to stay away from the technology of which he was once a fan.

Mr Sullivan's illness, now known as 'electrosensitivity', was caused by exposure to wireless radiation. This prompted him to seek more truth. While the telecommunications industry considers the level of microwave radiation emitted by cell phones to be safe, Mr. Sullivan spoke with a number of leading scientists and they found strong evidence to the contrary. again. He documented interviews with some of these scientists in a documentary he made in 2017 called 'Generation Zapped'.

Mr. Peter Sullivan was once a techie who was also one of the first adopters of wireless technology, but now he tries to stay away from the technology he was once a fan of. Today, Mr. Sullivan's full-time job is to help raise public awareness of the dangers associated with electromagnetic frequency (EMF) radiation, urging people to turn off or keep electronic devices at a safe distance. away if possible. He also funds research at Harvard, Stanford, California-Berkeley and several leading environmental health nonprofits in an effort to provide a better picture of the technology we all know. used because most people consider it safe.

Epoch Times reporter Conan Milner interviewed Mr. Sullivan to discuss the dangers associated with wireless radiation and how to protect yourself.

Mr. Sullivan, an advanced software designer in Silicon Valley, suddenly had physical problems

Correspondent Milner: People seem to be just beginning to realize the dangers associated with wireless technology, but you saw this 10 years ago. What made you start to notice it?

Mr. Sullivan: About 10 to 15 years ago, I went through what a lot of people are going through now. Since we do advanced tech work in Silicon Valley, there is a lot of exposure to radiation.

My brain says 'all this is fine', but my body is having some really serious problems. For me, it is difficult to accept that our assumptions about radiation safety are completely wrong.

At first I thought I had a food allergy, then it was determined that the mercury in my blood was high. But even after self-detoxing, improving diet, and doing all this, health doesn't stop declining. I became very thin and cracked my teeth. I couldn't concentrate, my body was weak - even though I wasn't inherently a weak person. I was a navy pilot, marathon runner, triathlete, so I was never weak, but I did become weak physically and mentally.

My illness has since progressed to the point where I don't feel well if I keep my phone next to my head.

Once, I was invited to a meeting of the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. Several scientists at the meeting talked about wireless radiation. So I started paying attention to this kind of research. Thousands of such studies have shown the dangers of wireless radiation.

Wireless radiation increases the risk of depression, memory damage, sleep

These frequencies and radiation fields can affect the calcium channels in our cells.

Correspondent Milner: How does wireless radiation affect our bodies?

Mr. Sullivan: I think the most important thing people should know about Dr. Martin Pall's work on calcium channels.

(Note: Dr. Martin Pall is Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Basic Health Sciences at Washington State University and a specialist in wireless radiation research.)

He discovered that these frequencies and radiation fields can affect the calcium channels in our cells. Calcium channels are fundamental for brain development, the immune system, T-cell function, the blood-brain barrier, and the gut-brain barrier. They are really the central element.

The number one risk factor for autism is calcium channel variability. From twin studies, we know that autism is only about 38% genetic, with the rest being environmental. So we are looking for environmental factors that can affect calcium channels.

Alterations in calcium channel function are also associated with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia, which increase the risk of these disorders.

Calcium channel alteration is also a risk factor for increased electrical sensitivity. But even if you have very normal calcium channel function, you can become electrically sensitive with high exposure to wireless radiation. It will still be overwhelmed at some point, especially as we start to use more things like 5G.

However, it's not just wireless radiation, it's actually a combination of many environmental risk factors. Dr Lisa Nagy said people are regularly exposed to mold which can damage calcium channels, and that makes them more susceptible to disease. Some people are exposed to toxic substances. Some people have risk factors from their teeth, such as mercury fillings. So you really need to offload all these factors to stay healthy.

(Note: Exposure is a medical term for exposure of the average person to a pathogen within a certain range.)

Correspondent Milner: It's amazing how disruptions to this tiny cellular machinery can lead to so many diseases.

Mr. Sullivan: Dr. Ball says that calcium channels are densest in the heart, nervous system and brain. We are already starting to see its effects on mental health and physical health.

People need to understand that the main symptom of EMF exposure is disturbed sleep. This is followed by headaches, attention problems, anxiety, and memory problems. What bothers me the most is sperm damage.

Dozens of studies have shown that these frequencies and fields can damage sperm. Therefore, the mobile phone in the pocket of a soon-to-be father is a major concern that needs to be investigated.

People need to understand that when they put their phones in their pockets, they are playing genetic Russian Roulette (Russian Roulette is a dangerous pastime with guns). They may have good genes, but cell phone radiation will randomly flip this good. It will be difficult to turn this situation around.

2 ways to improve wireless radiation damage: Add magnesium, stay away from electronic devices while sleeping

Reporter Milner: I've read through information that magnesium supplementation can help improve calcium channel disruption.

Mr. Sullivan: Dr. Pall and others have found that magnesium is a natural calcium blocker. If you have low magnesium levels in your body, your calcium channels can become overactive. When the calcium channel is stimulated, it tells your nervous system that something important is going on, so we should be on the lookout.

It is a very stressful state. You can think of it like a dangerous state of the cell. It consumes a lot of energy and is tiring. The body should not be in such a state of stress all the time.

Many doctors I've talked to have suggested a certain form of magnesium can get into the brain stem and brain more directly. It's called magnesium threonate. It has been shown to really help with brain connections.

Correspondent Milner: What should people do to reduce their exposure to wireless radiation?

Mr. Sullivan: The first thing is to get rid of devices near you in your sleeping environment. These exposures impair sleep, and they impair your melatonin production and sleep depth.

Nowadays, it is very common for people to use cell phones as alarm clocks, they charge it and leave it beside them all night.

Some people are even using fitness trackers with continuous wireless capabilities, like Fitbit, to track their sleep.

Avoid placing computers, cell phones and other electronic devices with wireless radiation where you and your baby sleep. (Image: Ddimitrova, Pixabay, Pixabay License)

Sleep is important for your health and well-being, and of course, your baby's development. Important point for children: We recommend that parents turn off baby monitors at night. At the very least, put it on the other side of the room.

In general, create a 'contact-free' space around your sleeping and working environments. You should turn it off or move it away. If you cannot turn off the device, move it away from you. If the device cannot be moved, move away from the device.

Distance causes our exposure to decrease rapidly. Every time you double the distance, the exposure is reduced by 75%.

Under no circumstances should people let their phones touch their heads while on the phone. Every phone has a warning stating that it has been tested with the distance between itself and the body. So the test wasn't done with the phone pressed to the body like most people are using them. Even if they are just around the corner, there is still a risk of exceeding the FCC limit, which is not a biologically-based safety limit.

(Note: The FCC standard is a certification mark applied to electronic products manufactured or sold in the United States that certifies that electromagnetic disturbances from equipment do not exceed the limits set by the Federal Communications Commission. America approves.)

I also have a wireless secure card on my ClearLightVentures.com website. This card shows you some basic solutions to some of the most common sources of wireless radiation. It includes some common sense about science and health. I give these to my parents. When people see this in writing, they see that there is science there, that there are solutions offered, they take action.

Feeling far away from wireless radiation

Picture 4 of Former Silicon Valley expert: 2 ways to reduce damage from wireless radiation from electronic devices

When away from wireless radiation will feel calmer. This is because the interference with the calcium channels stops and the body feels relaxed.

Correspondent Milner: I think a big reason people don't take wireless radiation seriously is because they can't see it.

Mr. Sullivan: Yes. It's invisible, so it's hard for people to understand it. One of my jobs is to let people see the invisible. We've been to a number of autism conferences where we've given people an experience. We built a tent 3m x 3m wide, like a farmers market tent, but the sides were covered. It's basically a clean room without a wireless network. We ask to turn off your phone, Apple watch or anything that is emitting a wireless signal before entering this room.

On average, 85% to 95% of people will feel different when they walk into that room. The most common thing they reported was feeling calmer. This is because the interference with the calcium channels stops and the body feels relaxed.

We've had some people exposed for so long that they get a little queasy going into this environment.

Reporter Milner: What is this tent made of?

Mr. Sullivan: It is made of shielding material to block and reflect wireless radiation. Shielding is one way to reduce wireless radiation exposure, but I recommend everyone to try all the free and easy things first – just reduce your exposure.

Correspondent Milner: What else should you know about wireless radiation?

Mr. Sullivan: People should also know that it failed the safety tests many times at all levels. Of course, the latest level of 5G will not be re-tested. Therefore, people should ask to have these devices checked before use and before their children use them.

Wireless safety needs to be as much of a market requirement as car safety. People should start to really look at the science, not just superficially believe the industry hype.
