Accordingly, the unmanned bus named EZ 10 , uses a series of laser sensors to analyze the surrounding environment. With a predefined route, the self-propelled bus can open to guests, shut down, move and travel to the destination. Self-propulsion buses can change the speed of the vehicle to suit the surrounding environment and may be an emergency brake if obstacles are encountered.

Marion Lheritier, an officer at easymile, the development unit for the EZ 10 unmanned aerial vehicle, said: "This car is well suited to the environment and will react if someone crosses the road. It can reduce speed or emergency brakes if anyone rushes to the front of the bus. "

This bus serves passengers between the Gare de Lyon train stations on the Seine and Austerlitz stations at a distance of 130 meters.

According to the Paris authorities, self-propelled buses will continue to operate in other cities in France, such as in Lyon in April. However, this new type of transport only complements public transport rather than replacing traditional buses entirely.
