The python lost 5 hours to swallow its prey.

Bonnie Chaplin used a cell phone to record the giant bat scene trying to escape to escape the smoke of a hungry python, in her garden in Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia.

The bat tries to wrestle to escape the hungry python, but the predator has finally won and slowly devoured the prey.

The python takes about 5 hours to swallow the bat into its stomach, before it crawls through Miss Bonnie's garden fence and loses it.

Bonnie said she didn't call snake catchers to move the animal away, because she was about to make a trip.

'I don't want to spend 80 dollars when we're going to move in the next few days , ' said Bonnie. 'It can be here and meet new people who have moved in . '
