As I met a shared person, Master Tran Van Do was open: casually, once working in mountainous Quang Tri, I discovered a rather strange breed of pig. The pigs were born on the basis of mating between wild pigs and pigs, leaving free of ethnic people. However, its natural life is narrowed by the intentional attack of people.

The demand for enjoyment is increasing, restaurants and hotels every day consume so many wild boars. Witness the hunters' hands on the forest to hunt pigs, directly threatening the living conditions of other rare and precious animals that Mr. Do felt so bitter.

Doing breeding research not only preserves a precious breed through which he also wishes to create conditions for other rare and precious animals to live safer . It's not that everyone thinks.

The mind of the animal husbandry researcher made him sometimes anxious and tormented for months because only because he did not act in time to preserve the precious pig breeds would quickly disappear.

Having a stable teaching position at Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry, he decided to apply to work in Quang Tri province to have more research conditions and actual penetration.

The first job was to scour to the villages, to buy a lot of " wild pigs " to raise. But, the scientist's money is not available, he must be very careful to serve his research.

He had to decide to sell the Honda used as a vehicle to get ten million dong to buy breeding pigs. Mr. Do said, at that time, he was a scientist, but he went to the market to buy and sell goods.

However, he always has a belief in himself. To work with the ability and the pure mind, no one will spare.

Heaven did not work, after three years of research, Mr. Do introduced a new breed of pig. A herd of over 30 wild boars was born right in his experimental garden.

Seven months later, a female pig gave birth to seven piglets. This is the initial success in the same conservation process that he is constantly pursuing.

Remembering the first day of hard work, Mr. Do said happily: " When I saw the first hybrid pigs born, I was happy to tears. This initial result opened a new direction in conservation, development of special mountainous pig breeds in Quang Tri ".

The beauty of wild boar breeds is that Mr. Do bred to live in natural conditions, do not feed bran powder, only eat grass leaves, cassava roots, worms, crickets. Unlike home pigs, the harsh weather of this breed is very good, not sick, epidemic. This is the most necessary and precious criterion when bringing this hybrid breed back to the mountainous herds, it is suitable for the elimination and harshness of nature.

Currently, he breeds more than 70 piglets, which are healthy. Looking at the herd of pigs running in the experimental garden, there are adults, weighing between 35 and 40 kg.

Mr. Do said that every kilogram of meat has a price twice as high as that of a pig, the quality of lean meat is high and delicious. This is a clean source of pork, there is no residue of weight gain drugs such as industrial pigs. Therefore, the demand for consumers is strong but supply does not meet demand.
