Google puts the app 'mini' into Desktop 4

Yesterday (June 27), Google released the official desktop search application and Google Desktop sidebar 4.

The latest version of Google Desktop 4 integrates more closely with Google services and adds the ability to support " Google Gadgets ".

Similar to the gadgets supported in Windows Sidebar of Vista or what is in Mac OS X dashboard, Google Gadgets are small applications - be it games or system utilities. Google has provided the SDK and Gadget Designer information set to support developers.

" Now you can easily manage your projects or files, set your gadgets by visualization interface, edit code snippets or preview changes, review error messages, automatically pack gadgets , "said Google Satish Sampath.

Along with the launch of Google Desktop 4, developers also released some gadgets.

Google Desktop 4 is also linked to Google's personal website creation service. Google Gadgets can be added to the app's sidebar or anywhere on the display.

Some other new features include eliminating the indexing of all information on the PC and the ability to delete search history contents temporarily stored.
