Google's robots will be able to upgrade themselves, build higher-end robots
With the ability to help robots learn for themselves, Google plans to teach robots how to "teach" each other, thereby creating higher artificial intelligence (AI).
Google technology giant recently announced a very big decision regarding AI (artificial intelligence). Accordingly, they are fiercely promoting AI to be able to learn by themselves, then make them build a more optimal AI system. Simple to understand, people are teaching robots how to "teach" each other.
In the near future, robots will produce the next generation robot by themselves.
Specifically, Google said it is designing an artificial nervous system that simulates brain activity. And their new technology - AutoML, will help this system work more efficiently and aggressively.
" The mechanism is that we create a neural network group, and repeat these same networks until we find the best network ." - Sundar Pichai, Google CEO said.
This process is called "reinforcement learning" (reinforcement learning), where computers connect fault tests themselves, just like how humans train dogs. But the difference is, AutoML will recognize which system is the most optimal and smartest.
However, wanting to do them needs a huge amount of energy, and Google is having to deal with it with AutoML.
" We hope AutoML can replace a small portion of current professionals, and in the next few years hundreds of thousands of people, to create a separate network dedicated to them without going through people. " - Pichai share.
AutoML is currently in its infancy, but Google says AI platforms will quickly become smarter thanks to it. In the near future, we will see their effectiveness on Google's smartphone applications.
