Half of British people believe aliens exist

With a real person, aliens can be a fun story. However, nearly half of the British people claimed that aliens really existed.

According to the Daily Mail , an extensive and elaborate investigation was conducted by the Royal Society of Science, the most prestigious scientific agency in the UK, with more than 2,000 Britons asking if they believed that the outsider Crystal really exists or not. Results showed that up to 44% of respondents believe that extraterrestrial life is real.

Men tend to believe in the existence of aliens more than women. Up to 46% of the men asked believe they are not alone in this universe.

However, the interesting and unexpected has not stopped there. Up to one third of respondents say we should actively contact aliens. But connecting with life outside the Earth is not an easy task. Therefore, the question ' how are we looking for aliens ' has given very different answers.

Simon Conway Morris , a professor at Cambridge University, said: ' Maybe one day a few centuries later, you take something from the exhibition and show it to a mineralogist. The next day, he will call you and say: 'You brought an alien'. That is, the existence of aliens may be very different from what we are expecting. So we should not speculate what to do . '

Professor Morris also believes that aliens are like humans, following the laws of evolution. He said: ' Life cannot exist without water. In addition, carbon is also a basic element. I may be reckless, however, I think that in the next few hundred years when we meet aliens, they may be very similar to us . '

Some people believe that aliens have come to Earth. Paul Davies, a University of Arizona cosmologist, said: ' At some point billions of years ago, maybe aliens have come to Earth. They even came to Earth to explore and immigrate here. However, they may think that this is not a place that can live long enough, so they left . '

It seems that the number of people who believe that aliens are more real than the rest. In another survey, only 28% of respondents claimed no aliens. Another 28% did not have a definite answer.
