Half of Yahoo's e-mail servers stopped working
An American security company claims it has discovered the reason why Yahoo's e-mail service has recently been criticized for being less stable. This is because about 50% of the service provider's servers may be "closed" at any time.
Many Yahoo e-mail servers do not work and do not receive messages.( Emailbattles )
TrimMail has tried to send 240 exploration letters to 16 Yahoo servers (hosts) in half an hour but only 133 e-mails have been replied. Repeat the experiment several times, the rate of e-mail servers operating varies from 25% to 75%.
Yahoo has been complained by users about its "too poor" service. However, the company explained that these were rare cases, taking place in a short time and did not affect service quality.
In a test of TechWorld technology site, Yahoo's 6/16 e-mail servers were in an unavailable state, while MSN's Hotmail service was only 4.
Yahoo has yet to comment on this new finding.
