Hang Nga ships in the lunar eclipse
The Hang Nga Moon probe 2 operates with solar power to successfully test flight in lunar conditions.
The Beijing Aerospace Control Center (BACC) on December 22 said that the unmanned moon probe, Hang Nga 2, is powered by solar power and has successfully conducted flight tests in the eclipse events and flew for hours in a completely dark space.

Mr. Zhou Jian Liang, deputy chief engineer of the BACC said that Chang'e 2, launched into space from October 1, flew into the dark at 11:50 pm on December 21 and left the darkness at 5:57. minutes (9:57 am GMT).
In three hours of flying in conditions completely out of sunlight due to lunar eclipses, Hang Nga 2 operates only on battery power and withstands temperatures of around minus 200 degrees Celsius.
In the dark, the Hang Nga 2 ship does not receive instructions directly from the Earth and only flies according to the pre-established program. This is the first time this probe has been flying in lunar conditions.
Hang Nga 2 flew into the lunar orbit from November 3 and began capturing images of the Rainbow Bay (Sinus Iridum) on the Moon.
China's first Hang Lun 1 probe was launched in October 2007 and ended its 16-month journey in March 2009.
