How to install and use IVCam - Turn your phone into a webcam

iVCam is a software associated with the phone application that "transforms" the smartphone into a sharp webcam with a few simple steps .

Install and establish a connection for iVCam

First of all, we need to download iVCam software on the computer and install it.

After installation, proceed to  Restart the computer. This is a required step  for the software to complete the driVer setup on your computer. If you do not restart, you will not be able to connect. 

Next, download and install the iVCam application on your phone according to your device's operating system (Android or iOS).

After installing the application, use a USB cable and connect your phone to your computer (port 3.0 will connect better than port 2.0).

Now, open up iVCam software on the PC. Interface connection will appear as shown below. 

Continue to open iVCam application on the phone (make sure the phone is connected to the computer successfully). Immediately, the device search interface will appear and automatically detect the connected computer. If not found, please press the refresh button as shown below to make the phone search again. 

After successful connection, the iVCam screen on the computer and phone will display images from the phone's camera. So you have successfully connected already. Now, you can go to any video call application like Skype, Messenger or online meeting applications like Zoom Meeting, Webex Meeting . and feel free to use your phone as a webcam with high resolution. strokes. 

Some settings for camera while using iVCam

iVCam, in addition to merely transmitting images from the camera phone, also provides a lot of useful functions for users. To set up these features, you can do it on both the computer and the phone, and the way is similar (On the phone, touch the screen to show the function buttons). 

In the interface of iVCam PC software, to set the image for the camera, click the Camera Setting  button with gear in the lower right corner. Or we can also press Ctrl + D. 

The Camera Settings dialog box will appear. We will only care about the function in the Controls section including the numbered buttons as shown below.

2. (2): Turn on the beauty function. 
3. (3): Rotate the image vertically.
4. (4): Rotate the picture horizontally.
5. (5): Switch the front and back cameras.
