Huge 'monster' on the coast
Recently, British fisherman Daniel Bennett, 26, set a record when he caught a giant stingray weighing nearly a hundred kilograms.
Daniel caught a giant stingray with a weight of 94kg, 2.2m long and a width of 1.7m.
This young fisherman caught the "monster" on the island coast of Skye. After 2 hours, he pulled it to shore.
Although it took a great deal of effort to conquer the fish, he said Daniel Bennett decided to release it back to the ocean.
The official spokesman for the British Fish Association has officially confirmed that this is the biggest fish ever caught in this country in recent times.
The stingray that Daniel caught was a rare species, resembling a stingray. This species has a lifespan of about 50 years, can live in most parts of the world, even in tropical waters or near the Arctic. They are often found in deep waters but can also exist in shallow waters.
