Huge strange halo in the sky of China

Many pilots said they saw a giant halo of mysterious circles in Shanghai sky on August 20.

Oriental Morning Post quoted a pilot of the CZ6554 plane saying he saw a giant sphere of light in Shanghai sky at 9 pm local time on August 20.

"The globular halo and is expanding, is hundreds of times larger than the moon, its diameter is more than 50 knots," said the pilot.

The crew of over a dozen other planes flying in Shanghai also said they saw this strange light. Yesterday, the East China Aviation Administration confirmed the above information.

At the same time, Beijing people also saw a strange halo in the sky. A man named Chen Xu took a picture of this phenomenon and posted it on his online profile. Chen said that initially the halo was quite small, then spread gradually, moving north and disappearing after a few minutes.

Earlier, on August 17, a strange object was also seen on the landing road of Chongqing City Airport, forcing the two aircraft to land in Guiyang of Guizhou and Xi'an provinces of Shaanxi Province.
