Improving means of collecting domestic waste

I. PROBLEMS OF LIVING WASTE

Currently, environmental pollution is an urgent issue in every country and the world and there are many options to overcome and minimize the consequences of environmental pollution. In which the treatment and collection of household waste is difficult in both means and methods, currently popular is the implementation of 3R (Reduce: minimize, Reuse: reuse, Recycle: recycle) is being applied in some major cities in the world including Hanoi capital (Vietnam) in recent years.

But there are still many issues to mention, in Vietnam, the way of applying 3R is to each sanitation worker to each household to distribute 3 plastic, inorganic garbage bags; therefore, the application is still not large, labor-intensive, the delivery of plastic bags to households when plastic bags are damaged is itself garbage for the environment! Meanwhile, environmental protection is the responsibility of every citizen in society today, so the process of reducing environmental pollution is not widespread.

II. IMPROVING OLD VEHICLES

To overcome this disadvantage, we need to improve the old waste storage facilities to replace plastic bags to collect garbage with 3R- W garbage cans (Reduce: minimize, Reuse: reuse, Recycle: recycle - Watter: water) as shown in Figure 1, Figure 2.
The 3R-W trash can is a plastic box with the size of 0.4 x 0.6 x 0.5m with a lid inside the bin with 3 removable garbage compartments that can be taken in three colors different. To store different types of garbage.

Inside the small sensory container: Consists of 3 small trash bins of the same size, but has three different colors (Green, red, yellow) size 0.4 x 0.2 x 0.4 m

At the bottom of the small tank is an empty chamber used to store waste water, liquid liquid is emitted from 3 small barrels A, B, C with the size of 0.6 x 0.4 x 0.1m.

Small trash cans come in three different colors

+ Small container with the size of 0.4 x 0.4 x 0.2 m below has a small hole to drain water, if you don't want to drain it, you can use the rubber button again.

+ Garbage bins have three different colors, different garbage functions:

- Green containers for organic, biodegradable garbage such as plants, animal wastes, paper .

- Red container in the middle is used to store recyclable inorganic garbage, non-biodegradable garbage such as plastic, broken glass .

- Yellow containers used to contain hazardous and dangerous substances, need to collect for processing separately. When the waste is a toxic substance with liquid, then put the rubber button back to the small hole.

Depending on each household, agency, school, the company may change the size, number of small containers containing garbage. For example, in rural areas, or city households can replace small yellow containers with green, or red garbage containers .

Large garbage bins for residential areas can use three large garbage bins standing side by side with 3 different colors (Green, Red, Yellow) and a gray liquid container.(See Figure 4).

When the household dumps rubbish, the garbage in any bin will be dumped into the bin. Green - blue, red - red . The garbage collector always has three different four-color garbage bins and garbage of that type. With a specialized garbage truck, it is not necessary to improve vehicles only to change the garbage collection time such as:

- The second collection of blue trash
- The 3rd thing collected red trash
- 4th yellow garbage collection
- Fifth collection of wastewater.
And repeat the same day of the week, or during the day

III, K DISCUSSION

Improving waste collection facilities is of great significance in the treatment of waste at source, at each household, and individual while the environment is having the most serious pollution is the problem of waste generation. operation, industrial waste .

- Organic waste in green trash can be processed into fertilizer, sealed and composted by microorganisms, creating natural gas (Biogas).

- Inorganic garbage, rubbish that is difficult to decompose in garbage cans can be recovered for recycling, or processed depending on the type of garbage .

- Hazardous waste in yellow garbage can be treated separately by appropriate methods .

- Wastewater collected in gray containers does not pour into rivers and lakes, but settles to treat chemicals to recover .

The use of 3R-W trash can has advantages over using separate plastic bags both economically and methodically.
