India has a record of 51 degrees Celsius, mobile phones have been powered down
A city of Rajasthan state, India experienced a new record heat wave when the outdoor temperature reached 51 degrees Celsius on May 20, 2016.

According to the BBC, the new record recorded in the city of Phalodi broke the record of 50.6 degrees Celsius in 1956 of the city of Alwar and the state. Hot sunshine has occurred for several weeks in the north of this country, the outdoor temperature is often above 40 degrees C.
Murari Lal Thanvi, a resident of Phalodi, said he was extremely miserable when he had to work outdoors yesterday.
"My phone went down when I was about to take photos," he said. " I have to put a wet cloth on it for about 20-25 minutes, it will restart."
India's weather forecast agency warns several more severe heat waves will continue to appear in the north and west of the country on weekends. India announced the " heat wave" when the maximum temperature was 45 degrees Celsius, 5 degrees Celsius higher than the region's average temperature last year.
