Mexicans suffer from a heat wave of the century with temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius, which flows many traffic lights in the country.

Mexico City experienced the hottest day in the last 99 years on May 30 with a measured temperature of 31.7 degrees Celsius, beating the record of 31.2 degrees Celsius in 1919, according to Strange Sounds. Thirteen people died from the heat never seen in states across the country. Meteorologists also predict strong storms will hit some areas in Mexico.

Hot sunshine spread across Mexico from the end of May. Yesterday, the temperature was above 45 degrees Celsius, recorded by the National Meteorological Agency (SMN) in 9 states.

The states of Baja California, Sonora, Sinaloa, Michoacan, Guerrero, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon Tamaulipas are forecast to reach temperatures between 45 and 50 degrees C. People in Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Jalisco, Durango, Zacatecas, San Luis Potosi, Hidalgo, Veracruz, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo will also experience heat in the range of 40-45 degrees C.
