India: picture of Jesus bleeding

Thousands of devotees are flocking to the deserted Andaman island (in Begal Bay, India) to see firsthand the portrait of Jesus bleeding - a strange phenomenon that happened during the past 2 weeks.

Eric Nathaniel - Adaman Island police radio operator - was the first to discover the red liquid flow dripping continuously from his painting of Jesus, which he insisted was definitely ' Holy blood '.

'My family lit candles and prayed all night, the blood dried a little. But soon afterwards from his hands and heart on another portrait, blood dripped into rows, ' Eric recounted.

Exotic strange things not only attracted the curious public, but also received special attention from high-level religious apostles. Father John Chrysostom of Anglican Catholic Church, in Port Blair, affirmed: 'The Lord suffers from the sins of men'.

The curious crowd came to Eric's home more and more, crowded with turmoil. So the police were forced to move the portrait to the house of the Bishop of Adaman to make it easier for the people to admire.

Talking about the fictional nature of this religious phenomenon, officials on the island said that ' Holy Blood ' is nothing more than red paint being cast in wet weather. However, this did not prevent people and priests from sailing nearby to watch and pray day and night.
